The cultural diversity of the people and their land inspire the "Romantic Realism" and plein air technique that he captures in his watercolor and oil paintings. Jim has been painting the colors of Hawaii for many years. Warmth, soft breezes, rainbows, tropical birds; exotic flowers and cultural sensitivity are essential elements to his paintings.
